CLAT Preparation is not difficult for those who can make an effective study plan. Here are some important tips for CLAT.The syllabus for CLAT generally covers five subjects.

Qualification for appearing in CLAT
The minimum qualification for appearing in CLAT is that the candidate has to be 10+2 passed out with minimum 45% cut off marks.
CLAT preparation Duration
A right study plan for CLAT can give an aspirant high chances of success. Contribute at least 2 to 3 hours every day on average for Preparation. Take one subject a day. Study it thoroughly and practise relevant exercises.
Be expert
For English Language in CLAT one must have a good foundation in English. Extensive practice will make it definitely better. An aspirant must work on English Vocabulary consistently.
Legal Reasoning
For CLAT Legal Reasoning one should have good conceptual knowledge in Law of Crime, Law of Torts, Law of Contract, Constitutional Law and an aptitude to apply the knowledge while solving particular problems.
Logical and Analytical Reasoning
Students need Extensive practice in Logical and Analytical Reasoning part for CLAT. In this part they may face various questions on series, blood relations or direction related problem, analogy, syllogism, proposition- conclusion based problem and so on.
Practice current affairs
For current affairs students need to follow a daily English newspaper and take note of important date of events. For general knowledge part in CLAT they should have fair knowledge about Indian History, Geography, Indian Constitution, Basic Economics and science.
Practice Test
In CLAT a student gets less than one minute time to answer a question as they have to answer each question after studying and analyzing a given paragraph. Time management is very crucial for being successful in CLAT. For Legal Reasoning , Logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude part aspirants may have to contribute more time. For rest of the questions they have to answer with minimum time contributions.
There is 0.25 negative marking in each wrong question in CLAT. Students must avoid to answer those questions about which they are not sure.
